Hey anglers, Today we fished for yellowtail at San Benito island. There wans’t too much current and there were quite a few sea lions, but we managed to land 70 yellowtail–mixed sizes from 12 to 20 pounds. The majority of the fish were taken on yo-yo lures and dropper-loop setups. We did catch a few fish for dinner. There isn’t anything better than fresh fish caught and cooked the same day! The weather is great and we are headed to Guadalupe to try for some larger-sized fish. More tomorrow, Capt Art
