Hey anglers, Today we are travelling and the weather is great! We have almost no wind and no swell. Yesterday we departed from San Diego. Everyone arrived early so we loaded our group at 8 am and we left the dock at 9:15. We got a great load of bait that has been curing in the receivers for about two weeks. It is a good thing we left early because we will be able to arrive at our first fishing spot before lunch. We are headed to Alijos Rocks where there are good reports of yellowfin tuna. Everyone is setting up their tackle for live-bait fishing. We have lots of eager fisherman who can’t wait to get a line in the water! We will check in tomorrow at mid day and let everyone know how we are doing. On a side note, we will determine the winner of our 2008 SONAR program at the end of this trip so stand by for the winner of the Shimano rod and reel and the 2009 fishing trip on Searcher. If you don’t get the 2009 schedule in the mail in the next few days, call Celia. She will be happy to send you one. More tomorrow, Capt Art
