Hello anglers,
Today was our first day of fishing in 2013. The weather is great and there is a sign of bluefin tuna 200 miles from San Diego. We saw three different schools this afternoon, but we think the timing was wrong–they didn’t bite. There were some good size tuna in two of the schools, which made it pretty exciting. It sounds like the better fishing was in the morning so we are spending the night to try again tomorrow. The forecast is good for the next three days so we have a chance to get some quality fish.
There is also a sign of mixed size yellowtail on the kelp paddies.
More tomorrow, Team Searcher
