Howdy anglers, Today was a refreshing day! To start, we had awesome weather with no more than 10 knots of wind and we got some fish! Both quality and quantity. We started off with some dorado and some yellowtail and then the albies started in. The dorado were up to 15lbs and we got 7 of those golden jumpers. Then we got 22 yellows and those were all nice-grade fish (from 12 to 35 pounders) off of kelps. Then we had some great stops for the longfins, including jigstrikes and bait fish. We even caught a few on the Fish Trap lure and even one on a big “flatfish” — just like the little ones we use for trout. The grade of those fish were 15 to 40lbs and we caught 71 of those. Along those albies, we caught 3 bluefin (30 to 50lbs), and can’t forget the 1 big fat skipjack too! Tip of the day- taking your time and picking a good bait. These fish were not line shy. Guys were getting them on 40lb with no flourocarbon. Capt Kevin and crew
