Hello anglers, We decided to head straight to Guadalupe Island for our first day of fishing. We arrived around 12:30 and saw a sign of 20-30 pound yellowfin tuna when we got to our first spot. We landed 10 fish right away and then we started to see some bigger fish boil around. We hooked a few and landed a fish around 65 pounds. We got the anchor down and continued to catch those smaller-size fish with an occasional 50 to 80 pound fish for the rest of the afternoon. At about 5 pm everything went quiet. We saw some fish but never landed another one. We ended up with nine of the better-grade fish and 25 of the smaller-size tuna. We also landed five decent-size yellowtail. We hope we can catch a few yellowtail tonight. Not a bad start! We plan to stay the night and see if they want to bite tomorrow. More then, Capt Art
