Hello anglers, There is a really good sign of yellowfin tuna at Guadalupe Island! If you can get past the sharks, there is a chance for a 70 to 100 pound one. For some people that is a fish of a lifetime. There is also a few nice-size yellowtail mixed in. Today was slower for us than yesterday. We landed fewer tuna, but the ones we caught were good ones. We are headed east to look for kelp paddies and will be headed up the coast for yellowtail. We accomplished our goal to give everyone a chance at a quality yellowfin tuna. We ended our stay at Guadalupe with a few nice yellowtail on the bottom after dark. There were a few minutes where every bait was a bite. It didn’t last long but we had our chances. Looking forward to catching some good size dorado tomorrow, Capt Art
