Hello anglers, Today we spent offshore looking for dorado on kelp paddies. We were successful finding several kelps, most of which had no fish on them. The conditions were great with good weather and good enough lighting to see a long ways. We did connect on one kelp that had a good school of nice-grade dorado–12 to 20 pounds and most were landed with live bait and 40-pound test. Everyone caught a few and we all had fun doing it. We are headed to the coast tonight and will arrive at daylight tomorrow morning to try for yellowtail. Looking forward to some action, Capt Art p.s.
