Hello anglers, We left on our first fishing trip of the 2010 season and we are excited! We have a great load of bait, a great group of fishermen, and a bunch of terrific Qualia reels aboard. The weather has backed off and it is currently calm with no wind and just a little swell left over from the wind the past few days. We have really good timing as the forecast looks good for the next few days. News from the offshore grounds is encouraging with one of our colleagues finding good signs of bluefin and albacore this afternoon. We should be in that zone before lunch tomorrow. On the local scene there are reports of bluefin tuna caught at 110 miles from San Diego with boats seeing good signs of bluefin tuna and catching some. There are catches between 20 and 50 fish per boat this afternoon and we haven’t had an update from late in the day. This is good news for our 3-day trip next weekend and the 1.5-day trips in the near future that have lots of space available. Looking forward to tomorrow, Capt Art
