Hello anglers, We are on the first day of a 3-day trip sponsored by Western Outdoor News and the weather is good with very little wind and a good-size ground swell. We are currently 100 miles from San Diego. So far this morning we have seen several spots of bluefin tuna and we have managed to land 13 fish in the 20-30 pound range, with a few more hooked up right now. There is a good sign of fish so if we find the right school that wants to bite a little, we are going to have a great day. There is a good sign of bait in the area with lots of birds and a few whales. Once again its all about the food source and there seems to be a good supply of bait for these tuna. More later, Capt Art
