Hello anglers, Our long run to San Benitos island paid off today…275 miles is a long way to go on a three- day trip, fortunately we have the capability to make that long run. You only get a half day fishing and thankfully we made the most of the time we had. We arrived around 130 pm and by 430 we had a limit of yellowtail It was great fishing and all methods were working. The primary method was flyline sardine on 30 or 40 pound mono. There were fish caught on the surface iron, yo-yo iron and a few on dropper-loops. The grade of the fish was mixed with the average being 18 to 20 pounds. Everyone had a great time and plenty of fish. The weather is great and we are currently heading back up to the northwest to try for some yellowfin tuna offshore tomorrow. More then, Capt Art
