Hello anglers, We are travelling today in good weather and arriving tomorrow morning at 7 am. Everyone broke down their tackle today and the crew is giving the old girl a bath before lunch. (the office personnel does NOT like “old girl”) Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Cedros Island with not much success. We only managed to land five yellowtail for our efforts. The conditions were good with warm, clean water. We did have quite a bit of wind, so it limited the area we could work in. I’m sure there are some yellowtail around that island somewhere just not in the zone we checked out. There is a good sign of yellowtail down the coast a little ways from Cedros so the prospects look good for our final two trips of 2010. Just to recap this trip, we saw some of the best tuna fishing ever at Alijos Rocks in the three days we were there. And I can’t remember having two trips in a row with that degree of success on the size fish we landed. It just cant get too much better than what we just accomplished. More from Capt Aaron on next trip, Capt Art
