Hello anglers, What is going on with the tuna this season? There is a good amount of albacore and bluefin tuna spread out over a large area. There are signs of fish from just south of the Cortez bank (100 west of San Diego) down to approximately 100 miles northwest of Cedros Island. That is a total of over 300 miles of scattered signs of fish. It is as if the fish are just arriving into the area and they haven’t settled in to any one zone yet. The outlook seems good for the future because traditionally these fish have gathered in a area and stayed for a while, and hopefully they do that sooner rather than later. I think there will be opportunities to catch fish on a variety of trip lengths in the near future. Wish us luck on getting them to bite this trip, Capt Art
