Hello anglers: We arrived at Isla Cedros this morning about 8 a.m. to find very nice tropical weather and grrrrrrrrrrreat yellowtail fishing. We had plenty of 12-20# fish with a few going over the 20# mark. The fishing was best on fly-lined bait but we did manage quite a few on the yoyo-jigs and a few were caught on the surface iron. Here’s a video clip of Kim Day: The seals today hardly posed a problem and we had minimal causualties. We departed Isla Cedros about 4:30 p.m. and are on our way back out to the albacore grounds to do some fishing in the morning and finish up a wonderful 5-day trip. Also we would like to wish passenger Leo Balmes a “Happy Birthday!” He is out here with us fishing. Thanks for tuning in, Capt Joe and the Searcher Crew!
