Hello anglers, Today we elected to stay offshore and look for kelp paddies instead of going straight to Guadalupe Island. The fishing at the island is a bit slow currently. We were really lucky and found good fishing on kelps. There were mixed fish on one kelp: good-grade dorado from 12 to 20 pounds, yellowfin tuna 15 to 25 pounds, and yellowtail 12 to 15 pounds. Every kelp had a sign of fish! The weather was good with a little chop. The water temp was 72 degrees. Everyone had a great time and landed a nice-size dorado.
