Trip Policies
Passport A valid passport book or passport card in your possession is required for ALL trips. Check to make sure your passport is valid as soon as you make a trip reservation. Don’t miss out because you didn’t renew in time!
All funds on deposit are non-refundable if passport requirements aren’t met to the satisfaction of Mexican immigration requirements.
Cancellation policy If you cancel and we rebook your vacancy, or if we receive your cancellation at least 90 days before departure, 90% of your booking deposit (50% of trip cost) is refundable. In any other case, all funds on deposit are non-refundable. No refunds after departure.
Last-minute trip cancellations due to illness or emergency should be covered by your trip insurance policy. If we can’t refill your spot, we will retain funds on hand so please make your insurance arrangements.
Destinations Every season brings new opportunities! Fishing locations and target species are decided upon departure by the captain who considers best conditions, weather, and safety.
Extra fees Canned drinks/bottled water, Mexican FMM, CA fishing license (if needed) and possible fuel surcharge are not included in the price. For 1.5-day trips, Mexican fishing permits are not included.
- Guadalupe Island For 5-, 6-, and 7-day trips, if the captain determines that Guadalupe Island is a fishing destination, that will require additional fees to access the island and fulfill necessary immigration requirements. Check with our office for current information on those fees.
Payment Full payment of trip price is due two weeks prior to departure.
Insurance Please make sure you have trip insurance! Last-minute trip cancellations due to illness or emergency should be covered by your trip insurance policy. If we can’t refill your spot, we will retain funds on hand. so please make your insurance arrangements.

Welcome to www.Searchersportfishing.com, the website for Searcher Sportfishing. This website (“Site”) is owned and operated by Searcher Sportfishing. Searcher Sportfishing maintains the Site as a service to individuals and businesses that access the Site (the “Visitor”), regardless of whether or not the Visitor has a business relationship with Searcher Sportfishing, subject to terms and conditions set forth on this page (“Terms and Conditions”). By accessing and/or using the Site, the Visitor accepts the Terms of Use. If the Visitor does not agree with the Terms and Conditions, the Visitor may not use the Site or any information contained therein.
Use of Site
The Visitor of the Site may view, download, and print all contents subject to the following conditions:

The Visitor may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing Searcher Sportfishing’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of Searcher Sportfishing. The Visitor may not use any Searcher Sportfishing logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without the express written permission of Searcher Sportfishing.
Searcher Sportfishing reserves the right to modify content on the Site and these Terms of Use periodically without prior notice.
Privacy Policy
The Site will not collect any personally identifying information about individuals (“Personal Information”) except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Personal Information provided by individuals will be used only in connection with Searcher Sportfishing business purposes or for such other purposes as are described at the point of collection. While Searcher Sportfishing will seek to require third-party content providers and other parties to adhere to privacy policies of Searcher Sportfishing, Searcher Sportfishing does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of such third parties.
Visitor Contributions
The Visitor may submit comments, and provide other content, to this Site so long as the comments or content is not obscene, illegal, threatening, or defamatory and so long as the content does not invade the privacy or infringe the intellectual property of a third party (collectively “Visitor Contributions”).
